Allomes Goes Yard 3 Times

Fans are still buzzing after Sault Ste. Marie whipped the Newport News Herons by the score of 8-6 at Ballpark of Raleigh.
Damon Allomes smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the right fielder bashed out 4 hits in 7 at-bats, had 4 RBIs and scored 3 times.
At the postgame press conference, Allomes said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game.
"Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Allomes said. "Three is just... wow."
Damon Allomes hit a solo-shot off Pat Cochran in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Pat Cochran in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 8th, flied out in the 10th, grounded out in the 13th and hit a two-run home run off Omar Rodriguez in the 15th.
In 2079 Allomes has hit at a .269 clip with 58 hits, 12 home runs, 32 RBIs and has scored 30 times.

Neale Razor-Sharp, Shuts Out Tulsa

The Tulsa Metalheads were no match for Daniel Neale of the Eagle Mountain Scavengers. Neale totally shut down and shut out Tulsa at Scavengers Ballpark as Eagle Mountain cruised to a 5-0 win. In the 9-inning effort, he gave up 4 hits, struck out 8, and walked 1.
This season, Neale has a 8-3 mark in 12 starts with a 2.73 ERA. He has given up 55 hits in 79 innings, struck out 86 and issued 28 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .196 batting average against him.
