Kings Dump Havana, 3-2, to Win 10th in a Row

The Baltimore Kings eked out a 3-2 win versus the Havana Metropolitanos at AT&T Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Doug Lovelace. He was terrific. The winning streak has now reached 10 games for the Kings.
Koufuu Tabata had a big 2-run home run for the Kings in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Baltimore leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a changeup from Huggy Bruce and swatted a home run to left. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Kings ahead, 3-0.
Afterward, Kings manager Brad Carpenter was ebullient. "That was a fun game to coach," he told a group of reporters, adding, "I hope it was just as fun to watch."
