Mejias Raps Trois-Rivieres for 5 Hits Tuesday, June 6th , 2084 It was a great day at the plate for Ricky Mejias. For his Murfreesboro Rifles, the day was not nearly as good. The center fielder collected 5 hits in 5 tries, but his club still came up short in the win column. The Trois-Rivieres Aquanauts snatched the victory, topping the Rifles by a score of 6-2. "Well that wasn't how it was supposed to end," Mejias said later. "I'll just have to do it again and get it right." Ricky Mejias singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. To date this season, Mejias is hitting .367 with 1 home run.
