Injury Sidelines Jeff Rosario for Season

The news is bad in Victoria. The Seals have lost the services of starting pitcher Jeff Rosario for the rest of the season due to a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Rosario was injured in a recent game with the Milwaukee Explorers while throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 13 months.

Danny Fivecoats of the Scott County Cougars was impressive in blanking the Glendale Beachcombers, 14-0, at Ballpark of Fort Wayne. He crafted a 3-hit shutout and chalked up 10 strikeouts with 2 walks in the contest.

Lake Dalecarlia's Cantimori to Miss Season

When Lake Dalecarlia starting pitcher Giacomino Cantimori was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Saxons-Blackbirds game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Cantimori had sustained a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for about 9-10 months.
