Toledo Season Won't Continue in Playoffs
Sunday, July 21st , 2086
The Toledo Red Dragons were certainly not a team of destiny this year and now they have been eliminated from playoff contention.
"We thought we had a better chance than this," said left fielder Genji Arakaki. "It's a big disappointment."
Toledo last appeared in the postseason in 2050. This is their 36th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 93 times in their 97-year history. Toledo last won the League Championship in 2004.
