It was a great day at the plate for Ricky Mejias. For his Murfreesboro Rifles, the day was not nearly as good.

The center fielder collected 5 hits in 5 tries, but his club still came up short in the win column. The Trois-Rivieres Aquanauts snatched the victory, topping the Rifles by a score of 6-2.

"Well that wasn't how it was supposed to end," Mejias said later. "I'll just have to do it again and get it right."
