Bruisers Campos Lost for Year Monday, May 1st , 2084 Watching Roberto Campos getting helped off the field today at Bruisers Ballpark, fans of the Glendale Bruisers feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the starting pitcher will miss 4-5 months with radial nerve compression. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Campos suffered the injury throwing a pitch in the game against the Golden Bears. |
