Behind Picozzi, Corpus Christi Blanks Salt Lake, 6-0 Saturday, July 21st , 2085 It wasn't easy but the Corpus Christi Golden Bears made it look that way. Starter Steve Picozzi shut out the Salt Lake Stingers despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Corpus Christi Golden Bears cruised to victory, 6-0. Picozzi allowed only 3 hits and rang up 3 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up."
