Sanchez Strokes 5 Hits Tuesday, May 21st , 2086 It seemed that Anchorage catcher Esteban Sanchez could do no wrong as the Homesteads KO'd the Kings, 13-9. Sanchez rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Kings hurlers were throwing. "I think the Homesteads were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Baton Rouge fan after the game. "I felt good. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Sanchez in the postgame press interview. Esteban Sanchez singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Sanchez on the season is hitting .295 with 1 home run. His stats include 17 RBIs and 13 runs scored. View Boxscore |
