He may only be 23, but it will be hard to top the right fielder's 2085 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Beta Conference Outstanding Hitter Award.
His winning campaign featured a .322 batting average and a .395 on-base percentage this year. In 117 games he piled up 151 hits, 19 doubles, 4 triples, 20 home runs, 69 RBIs and 81 runs scored.
He received 16 first place votes out of a possible 30. Leonardo Ruiz of the Santa Ana Broncs finished second in voting with 8 first place votes, while Jesus Pena of the Akron Pickets finished third with 4 first place votes.
Great Year Gets Johnsen AC Outstanding Hitter Award Monday, September 24th , 2085 Jonathan Johnsen of the Anchorage Homesteads had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Outstanding Hitter Award for 2085.
The 24-year-old third baseman put up a .316 average and a .413 on-base percentage, piling up 135 hits, 20 doubles, no triples, 28 home runs, 87 RBIs and 73 runs scored.
He received 13 first place votes out of a possible 30. Jose Diaz of the Anaheim Rage finished second in voting with 8 first place votes, while Neosbel Benavides of the Anaheim Rage finished third with 8 first place votes.
