Sumos RF Rexach Out Tuesday, May 30th , 2084 Ramiro Rexach of the Sumos just might have to call it quits for the season. The 23-year-old Hicksville right fielder received a possible season-ending injury against the Chula Vista Ghouls recently at Sumos Ballpark. Rexach suffered a ruptured medial collateral ligament while running the bases. The Sumos medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 8 months. In 27 games Rexach is hitting .284 this season with 29 hits, 4 home runs, 12 RBIs, 19 walks, .402 OBP and has scored 16 runs. |
