|
Kevin McClung kept the Paradise Gecko hitters from doing much damage at Paradise Grounds.
Paradise could only muster 5 hits and draw 1 walk against the left-handed McClung, who controlled them throughout the game. Milwaukee won the contest, 4-0. McClung added 6 strikeouts in his complete-game effort.
"I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," McClung told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time."
Thus far this season, McClung has tossed 46 innings in 7 starts, fanned 42 batters, walked 13 and put up a 3.72 ERA with 2 wins and 3 losses.
