Fingleson Belts Bunch of Base Hits
|
Nathan Fingleson had an answer for everything the Quahog Players threw at him at Ballpark of Genoa. The Anchorage first baseman went 5-for-8 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Homesteads a win, 6-5.
Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Fingleson said, "I just see the ball and I hit it."
Nathan Fingleson singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th, grounded out in the 10th, singled in the 12th, doubled in the 14th and flied out in the 15th.
This season, Fingleson is batting .320 with 1 home run.
