Plesh Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits Saturday, August 14th , 2083 The Lake Dalecarlia Saxons stopped the New Orleans Blues by a score of 18-5 at Saxons Ballpark, with the lion's share of the credit going to third baseman Bob Plesh. The 23-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Plesh said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard."
