Plesh Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits
The Lake Dalecarlia Saxons stopped the New Orleans Blues by a score of 18-5 at Saxons Ballpark, with the lion's share of the credit going to third baseman Bob Plesh. The 23-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits.

"Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Plesh said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard."

Plesh did just that in his 6 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Blues.

"Not much that I can say," offered New Orleans manager . "He just hammered the heck out of us."

Bob Plesh singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Chi-hyeon Park in the 4th, singled in the 5th and struck out in the 7th.
