Beta Conference #1 Pitcher Named Tuesday, September 10th , 2080 It was as good as money in the bank when Jose Prades took the hill for Henderson. He paid his club back with interest this season with a superb 13-5 mark, collecting the Beta Conference Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2080. The Terrors star delighted the hometown fans with a fine 2.26 ERA and 174 strikeouts in 147.1 innings. Prades surrendered 120 hits and 27 walks and limited opposing batters to a .220 batting average. He received 24 first place votes out of a possible 30. Oscar Mercado of the Clyde Hill Cyclones finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while John Frye of the Newport News Herons finished third.
