Fajardo Tops Beta Conference Pitchers Monday, September 13th , 2083 Beta Conference hitters didn't have much of a chance in the 2083 season when the Honolulu manager wrote "Miguel Fajardo" on the lineup card. Outing after outing, he held teams in check and usually got a win. He excelled with a 9-8 mark and 2.76 ERA in 25 starts, tossed 163 innings, fanned 164 and held opposing teams to a .211 average. For his superb season Fajardo was today named the BC Outstanding Pitcher Award winner. He received 20 first place votes out of a possible 30. Chris Sayler of the Saint Paul Saints finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Ning-qing Tsai of the Henderson Terrors finished third with 1 first place vote.
