Segarra Named Top Reliever for BC Saturday, September 9th , 2079 He may only be 22, but Ricardo Segarra of the Sault Ste. Marie Dukes has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the Beta Conference. The reliever was today named the BC Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2079. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 3 saves in 37 relief appearances and 65 strikeouts in 65.1 innings. He had a record of 4-3 to go with his 1.79 ERA. He received 16 first place votes out of a possible 30. Kussil Tau of the Sudbury Astronauts finished second in voting with 10 first place votes, while Dave Divine of the Henderson Terrors finished third with 4 first place votes.
