Buchanan Goes 5-for-7 Against Anchorage Monday, July 26th , 2083 Mark Buchanan was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at Sudbury Grounds, the Sudbury center fielder blistered the Anchorage Glacier Pilots for 5 hits in 7 at-bats to pace his club to a good 8-7 victory. "Buchanan was too tough to get out," Glacier Pilots skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Mark Buchanan singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, struck out in the 8th, grounded out in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 11th.
