Julio Narvaez Injured, Out for Season
Thursday, July 13th , 2079
Henderson reliever Julio Narvaez could miss the remainder of the season because of a torn ulnar collateral ligament. He exited yesterday's Anchorage game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Narvaez would be out 14 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."
This year, his stats show Narvaez has no saves in 6 relief appearances with a 0-0 record and 0.00 ERA.
