Aces Scott Flynn Down and Out for Year
Saturday, September 3rd , 2078
The doctors have spoken and Scott Flynn of the Las Vegas Aces didn't like what he heard. The 25-year-old third baseman is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Flynn sustained his season-ending injury during the Chicago Phantoms game yesterday at Foster Field. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while colliding with a player at a base. Today the Las Vegas medical staff reported Flynn had a broken kneecap and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4-5 months.
Flynn is hitting .271 for the season with 20 home runs, 66 RBIs and 74 runs scored. He has 133 hits in 490 at-bats and played in 128 games.
