Gaedels Torpedoed by Sordia in 6-0 Loss to Tucson Sunday, August 23rd , 2076 Marcos Sordia was dynamite at Aetna Stadium today, blowing away the St. Louis Gaedels in a shutout victory. The Tucson Toros starter had everything working as he held the Gaedels to 4 hits in the 6-0 win. "He was pure nasty out there today," said St. Louis skipper Mak Dolnick. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing." Sordia finished the game with 11 strikeouts and 1 walk.
