In the Havana's 7-6 win over Portland (E), center fielder Luisbanis Valido was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Ballpark of Portland. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Valido said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Luisbanis Valido singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 7th, grounded out in the 9th and doubled in the 11th.
