Pursley Fashions Shutout Against Spectres

Today was Shane Pursley's turn in the rotation for the New York Titans and he made the most of it, shutting out the Philadelphia Spectres on 2 hits.
The 27-year-old right-hander led the Titans to an easy 7-0 victory, allowing no walks and tallying 5 strikeouts.
"I hope we miss him next time," Philadelphia manager Ryan Huff said. "Pursley certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."
Pursley has posted a 7-3 record for the year with a 3.32 ERA. Teams are hitting .232 against him and he has rung up 66 strikeouts in 89.1 innings.
