Kings Win, 7-4, Over Maine
|
The Baltimore Kings picked up a win at Ballpark of Portland, topping the Maine Lobster, 7-4. On the mound for Baltimore was right-hander Lanzo Huitron. He played a principal role in the triumph. The win makes Baltimore 56-55.
Baltimore used a well-timed hit by Joel Feldewerth to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Kings ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"Lanzo pounded the strike zone and made good pitches when he needed to," said Baltimore manager Brad Carpenter.
