Ponce Pitches San Francisco to Shutout Victory Sunday, June 16th , 2080 Cruz Ponce had an impressive outing at Staples Field, hurling the San Francisco Friars to a 4-0 shutout victory over the San Antonio Angels. "He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," San Antonio skipper Brandon Coroian said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do.
