Red-Hot Badeaux Scorches Arrows
Saturday, May 28th , 2078
Bobby Badeaux put on a hitting clinic as the Los Angeles Stars dumped the Seattle Arrows, 12-1, at Power Ballpark.
The Los Angeles left fielder made Seattle defenders earn their pay, lashing Seattle pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."
"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Badeaux said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."
Bobby Badeaux singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off J.P. McNealy in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off J.P. McNealy in the 4th, singled in the 6th, walked in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Victor Roman in the 9th.
So far this year, Badeaux has 6 home runs and a .296 batting average.
