The Houston Aquas pasted the Seattle Arrows with a convincing 12-1 defeat at Tesoro Stadium. Frank Lung was a prime factor in the Houston win. He went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Ricky Zika got the win, improving to 6-1. He held the Arrows to 1 run on 6 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 1. The loss makes Seattle 27-24.

Ricky Zika, who finished 5th in the WC in strikeouts with 220 in 2075, took Seattle hurler Alex Zapien deep in the bottom of the third. His 2-run home run put the Aquas on top, 3-1. In all, Zika had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.

"They beat us like the proverbial rented mule," said losing manager Dr. Jay Siber.
