Dominant Performance by Seasholtz in Toronto Win
|
Toronto beat Miami on the strength of starter Eddy Seasholtz's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 2-0. Toronto is now riding a 3-game win streak.
Seasholtz, who dominated for Toronto, earned the victory to move to 4-5. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 9. Miami batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
Afterward, Juggernauts manager Marc Arnold was ebullient. "That was a fun game to coach," he told a group of reporters, adding, "I hope it was just as fun to watch."
