Havana Metropolitanos starter Huggy Bruce pitched well against the Boston Greens at Arrington Park, leading his team to a win, 4-2. The winner was Bruce. He threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Vismay Falcon. Earning his 4th save of the year was Dave Quintero.
Havana took a 4-2 lead on Luisbanis Valido's 5th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Valido hit in the top of the eighth, left Boston pitcher Ossie Lopez visibly frustrated.
"Huggy's a gamer," said Havana manager Mark Sands. "Glad he's on our side."
Havana, with the win, is 12-38.
