Lobster Get Past Santiago for 5-4 Win
The Portland (E) Lobster spoiled a good performance by Santiago left fielder Alonzo Armijo, bumping off Santiago, 5-4, at Ballpark of Portland. Armijo went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Portland (E) pitcher Jesse Collins got the win, upping his record to 1-3. Victor Cacho got the loss. Beau Eschmann picked up the save, his 1st.

Portland (E) took a 5-4 lead on Luis Cortes's 3rd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Cortes hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Santiago pitcher Victor Cacho visibly frustrated.

"Time to decompress after a tough win," said Cortes.

The 4th-place Lobster improved to 17-29.
