Cyclones Rally to Win, 10-9
The Miami Cyclones racked up a win at Ballpark of Portland, bumping off the Portland (E) Lobster, 10-9, in 13 innings. Elza Ficquelmont, who started for Miami, pitched effectively for his team. The win went to Sergej van Anrooij in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Beau Eschmann took the loss. With the victory, the Cyclones record stands at 28-16.

The Lobster had been locked in a 9-9 tie with the Cyclones going into the top of the 13th inning. That changed quickly when the former first round draft pick Gurmu Jemadari came to the plate. Jemadari hit a run-scoring double on a 1-0 fastball from Portland (E) hurler Beau Eschmann. It was Jemadari's 11th double of the year.

"Elza was outstanding," said Miami manager Chris Stephan.
