Ausmus Leads Charge, Miami Blasts Lobster
The Miami Cyclones pounded the Portland (E) Lobster, 16-1, at Ballpark of Portland. Miami catcher Shane Ausmus had a game-changing performance. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. The setback makes Portland (E) 16-27.

Jason Diaz had a big bases-clearing double for the Cyclones in the top of the third inning. With Miami leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a curveball from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Gerald Blackman and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Cyclones ahead, 5-0.

"Well, that ended badly," said losing manager Matthew McExpos.
