Toronto Juggernauts starter Luis Basurto turned in an exceptional performance against the Vancouver Wolves at Fox-Chong Park, resulting in a Toronto win, 5-2. Toronto reliever Albin Muscetta was the winner. His record is now 1-2. Hyun-koo Ka took the loss. Jesus Carbajal finished to wrap up his 3rd save.

Matt Salmon, who leads the EC in total bases with 278, helped out the Toronto cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the designated hitter drove in one run.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Salmon told the Toronto Gazette.

At 62-77, the Juggernauts are currently 4th in the Eastern Conference Benito Cossutta Division.
