Fujiwara Homers Twice in 14-6 Greens Win
|
Junpei Fujiwara had a 3-RBI game, during Boston's 14-6 triumph over the Miami Cyclones. Fujiwara contributed 1 single and 2 home runs to the cause. Steve McFarlen closed the door for Boston, picking up his 5th save of the year. The losses continue to mount for Miami, which has now dropped 7 in a row.
The Greens got a big boost from designated hitter Luis Torrecilla who had a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning off Cyclones hurler Sukeichi Segawa. It was his 137th RBI of the season and put Boston on top, 7-6.
"Winning breeds more winning, I guess," said Fujiwara.
