Buffalo Bats Go Silent in 2-0 Loss
|
The Cincinnati Twins went home winners at Bison Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Bryan Walker. Walker stifled the Buffalo Rangers, enabling Cincinnati to grab the 2-0 win. The win puts Cincinnati at 11-23.
Cincinnati benefited from a miscue in the top of the fifth inning. Cincinnati was leading 1-0 when Tim Champion hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put Cincinnati in front, 2-0.
"I felt good up there," said Champion. "I saw the ball well."
