The Baltimore Kings beat the Havana Metropolitanos, 7-5. Baltimore pitcher and Guantanamo, Cuba, native Adrian Portuondo led the way. Ocean Mendoza earned the save for Baltimore. After losing, Havana is 8-23.

Baltimore won the game in part because of David Maitland. The right fielder ripped a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put the Kings ahead, 1-0. For the game, Maitland had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"Adrian was able to locate to both sides, up and down," said Baltimore manager Brad Carpenter.
