The New York Titans scored a convincing win at Ballpark of Portland, defeating the Portland (E) Lobster, 12-0. One of the hitting stars was Carlos Guadamuz, who is tied for 7th in the EC in doubles with 10, who was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. The Titans, now 23-8, have hit the ground running this season.

The Titans got a big hit from catcher Edgar Curiel. Facing Portland (E) pitcher Pablo Medina in the top of the eighth, Curiel pounded a grand slam home run to left-center. His 2nd home run of the season put the Titans ahead, 10-0.

"They beat us, they beat us soundly," said losing manager Matthew McExpos.
