Starting pitcher Beau Eschmann gave the Portland (E) Lobster a rock-solid effort. The New York native helped his team defeat the Buffalo Rangers, 3-2, at Ballpark of Portland. Portland (E) goes to 13-15.

Portland (E) got a knockout punch from Dave Yerges. The right fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
