Lobster second baseman Josh Newlin put his stamp on his team's 3-2 win over the Buffalo Rangers. Newlin went 3-3 with 2 doubles and a walk for Portland (E) in the contest. The winning pitcher was Gerald Blackman. He tossed 93 pitches over 6.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 9 hits. The loss puts Buffalo at 15-12.
