7 Straight Wins for Juggernauts
|
The Toronto Juggernauts weathered an outstanding game by Houston center fielder David Kuthakwakulu to topple the Aquas, 8-7. Kuthakwakulu was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Picking up the save was Ignacio Noriega. He's now 12 for 14 in save chances. The Juggernauts have now reeled off 7 straight wins.
Toronto took the lead, 8-4, on Matt Salmon's 27th home run of the season. The grand slam home run came off Houston pitcher Ron Gelsomino in the bottom of the seventh.
"We found a way to get it done," Salmon said.
