Visiting Senators Beat Cyclones, 7-4
|
The Washington Senators picked up a win at Kroger Stadium, knocking off the Miami Cyclones, 7-4. Starting pitcher Les Ralph played a key role in the triumph. Keung King, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 21st save. The last-place Cyclones have lost 4 straight games.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Lars Sebregts? The Washington catcher had a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Senators on top, 3-0. For the game, Sebregts had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Sebregts told the Washington Observer.
