Cyclones Zap Kings, 9-3
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Baltimore Kings and Miami Cyclones get after it.
Miami first baseman Diego Guajardo helped his team beat the Baltimore Kings, 9-3. Guajardo, who is rated as the 42nd best prospect by BNN, went 3 for 5 for the Cyclones. Bobby Edwards, the winning pitcher, improved to 6-7. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 4 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 7 and walking 3.
In the first inning, Guajardo had a 2-run home run for Miami. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Cyclones on top, 2-0.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Guajardo.
Miami is second in the Eastern Conference Max Badaloni Division with a record of 55-44.
