Buffalo left fielder Matty Hrinko contributed significantly to his team's 6-4 win over the Denver Glaciers. Hrinko, who is tied for 2nd in the EC with a .424 on-base percentage, went 3 for 3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Rangers. Buffalo pitcher B.J. Baker got the win. He's now 9-4. Su-shun Nie was tagged with the loss. Chris Sousley closed it out for Buffalo, earning his 1st save.
Zach Gavula, who is a two-time All-Star, chipped in a 2-run home run for Buffalo in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the second baseman had 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 2 runs scored, and 2 runs batted in.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Buffalo manager Alex Beckman.
The Rangers now have a mark of 60-35.
