Cyclones left fielder Bobby Aguinaga put his stamp on his team's 10-5 win over the Santiago Avispas. Aguinaga went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Miami in the contest. Earl Starr got credit for the save for Miami. It was his 1st of the year. The Cyclones, now 7-0, have hit the ground running this season.

Miami needed the clutch hitting of Karl Cooper to seal the deal. The first baseman swatted a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Cyclones on top, 6-5. For the game, Cooper had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
