Alpha Conference Title Goes to Elephants Sunday, August 15th , 2083 Let loose, Plano fans, your team has won the Alpha Conference. The Plano Elephants have officially captured the crown, the 26th in franchise history. "We've got a team that can do it all and we think do it just as well as anyone in the league," said starting pitcher Keita Tsuchida. "I hope no one is taking us lightly once the playoffs start." Certainly the team's division crown will garner them a fair bit of respect, as the 84-34 record puts the club in position for the franchise's 17th RSL Single A championship. "You never get tired of being in the playoffs," said the team's manager. "This is what you play for." |
