AC Names Top Player of the Week Monday, August 14th , 2084 The hottest bat of the week belonged to Hillsboro first baseman Ramon Febres. He went on a rampage last week against AC hurlers and rapped out 11 hits in 22 at-bats for a .500 average while hitting 3 home runs, driving in 6 runs and scoring 7 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the Alpha Conference Player of the Week trophy. Febres was honored today at a press conference. This season, Febres has 13 home runs and a .296 batting average. |
