Beta Conference Champs Crowned: East Lansing Mighty Gulls Sunday, August 13th , 2084 East Lansing Mighty Gulls fans are walking a little prouder today after their team officially clinched the Beta Conference. "There's no reason to believe we can't win it all," first baseman Jose Diaz said bluntly. "Whether or not we're favorites, we can definitely do what it takes to bring the League Championship home to East Lansing." The division crown is the 7th for the Mighty Gulls. The club will be looking for its 2nd League Championship victory. The team's manager said "preparation and focus" will be key to bring home the championship. |
