Beachcombers Bubba Furman Will Miss Season Saturday, August 5th , 2084 Glendale Beachcombers reliever Bubba Furman left yesterday's game against the Salt Lake Stingers after suffering a torn flexor tendon in his elbow throwing a pitch. Furman was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Furman is expected to miss 8 months. |
