Cisek Takes Best Bat Award in July Tuesday, August 1st , 2084 When Mike Cisek stepped up to the plate in July he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Alpha Conference Batter of the Month award. The young Baton Rouge first baseman posted a .380 batting average with 8 home runs, 21 RBIs and scored 19 runs. Cisek also worked pitchers for 16 walks to post a .482 on-base percentage. In 89 games this year, Cisek has posted a .310 average and put up these numbers: 17 home runs, 64 RBIs and 41 runs scored. |
