The Math Says - Beachcombers Out of Playoffs Thursday, July 20th , 2084 Any hopes of a playoff berth for the Glendale Beachcombers this season were already a long shot at best. But even the longshot hopes are now gone, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. The Beachcombers have made the playoffs 15 times in their 95 years as a RSL Single A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 35th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2049. Glendale last won the League Championship in 1998. |
