Sword Swallowers Won't Get Playoff Berth Thursday, July 20th , 2084 The Orlando Sword Swallowers will soon be packing their bags and heading home for the year. The 2084 season won't involve a playoff run for the club, as Orlando was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. Orlando last appeared in the postseason in 2076. This is their 8th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 70 times in their 73-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Sword Swallowers have only made the playoffs once. |
